“BRAZEN BUSINESSMAN” BRANDISHES WEAPON IN BANK ROBBERY

The Houston FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a well dressed robber who brandished a semi-automatic pistol as he demanded money from tellers at the Chase Bank, 5847 San Felipe, in Houston, Texas yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 3 p.m., the man entered the bank and went to the check writing stand.  He then approached the teller counter and set down a blue bank bag.  “Brazen Businessman” unzipped the bag and displayed to tellers a pistol which was inside the bag.  He then made a verbal demand for money.

“Brazen Businessman” is described as an Asian male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’06” to 5’08” tall, 140 pounds, slim build, and clean shaven.  Witnesses believe he was wearing a black wig during the robbery.  He wore a long sleeved gray dress shirt, tie, and black dress slacks.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of “Brazen Businessman” or any felony suspect.  If you have information regarding this case, please call the Crime Stoppers tip line at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
