FBI Releases Photographs Of Tomball Bank Robber

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man who robbed the First Convenience Bank located inside a Kroger grocery store in Tomball on Thursday evening.  The task force is releasing photographs which depict the robber before, during and immediately after the robbery.    

At approximately 7:15pm on 02/07/2008, a black male entered the bank inside the Kroger grocery store located at 14060 FM 2920 in Tomball, Texas.  The man handed the teller a demand note in which he threatened to be carrying a weapon.  At about the same time, the robber also motioned to the teller to indicate he was concealing a weapon in his waistband.  The teller complied with the demand note and handed the robber a blue First Convenience Bank bag filled with cash.  The man then exited the bank and Kroger grocery store.  He was last seen walking across the parking lot.   

The robber is described as a black male in his twenties to early thirties, approximately 6’0” to 6’5” tall and weighing 185 to 200 pounds.  He had a dark complexion, a slim build and goatee.  He wore blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and a black cap.  He left the bank carrying a blue First Convenience Bank bag.
