“BATHROOM BANDIT” ROBS CHASE BANK

The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s help in identifying the “Bathroom Bandit”, who, after using the rest room, robbed the Chase Bank at 14400 Memorial Drive in Houston yesterday afternoon.

At approximately 3:10 p.m., “Bathroom Bandit” approached a teller and was told that the teller station was closed. Employees say he seemed anxious and looked nervously around. He then used the rest room and took his place in the teller line. Once called to a teller, he held up a note which stated that he had a gun. The teller emptied her cash drawer and placed the money into a bag provided by the robber. He then fled the bank on foot.

“Bathroom Bandit” is described as a black male, 24-27 years old, 6’01” to 6’02” tall, 180 pounds, slender build, medium to dark complexion, with a fade hair cut. He was wearing a black jacket with gold trim, red tee shirt with yellow design, and blue jeans.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of “Bathroom Bandit” or any felony suspect. If you have any information regarding this crime, call the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 713-222-TIPS (8477), or your local FBI office.
