"PISTOL PETE" COMMITS TWO AGGRESSIVE BANK ROBBERIES

The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying "Pistol Pete", a pistol waving bandit who committed two armed bank robberies on two recent Friday mornings.

On Friday, October 26, 2007, at approximately 10:15 A.M., "Pistol Pete" entered the Compass Bank at 12514 Tomball Parkway carrying a dark colored handgun and wearing a mask over his face. He yelled "Everyone get down on the ground," and "Give me all your money." "Pistol Pete" then approached the tellers and threatened to shoot them if they gave him any "bait money." All three tellers on duty, fearing for the safety of the customers, removed the cash from their drawers and handed it to "Pistol Pete." He exited the bank and was seen leaving the area in an older model Chevrolet Suburban, which was described as blue and silver in color, and dirty.

On Friday, October 9, 2007, at approximately 9:35 A.M., "Pistol Pete" entered the Compass Bank located at 15800 Champions Forest Drive carrying a dark colored handgun and wearing a bandana tied around the lower part of his face. "Pistol Pete" again waved and pointed his handgun at the tellers, and threatened to kill them if he was given any "bait money" or dye packs. The tellers, fearing for their lives, placed the money from their cash drawers into a black canvas bag. "Pistol Pete" then left the bank and was seen leaving the area in an older model Chevrolet pickup truck, gray in color with red and blue stripes.

"Pistol Pete" is described as a black male, age 20-45, 6'0" or taller, 200 to 250 pounds, muscular or heavy build, medium to dark complexion.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of "Pistol Pete" or any felony suspect. If you have information regarding this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
