"MARY KAY BANDIT" COMMITS TAKEOVER STYLE ROBBERY OF WACHOVIA BANK

The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man wearing women's make-up who robbed the Wachovia bank at 4410 North Freeway on November 13, 2007.

At approximately 9:00 A.M., the "Mary Kay Bandit" entered the bank brandishing a silver pistol. He announced that this was a robbery and demanded cash. All of the customers were forced into one area of the bank and told to keep their hands up. The tellers were then given grocery bags and were instructed to fill them with cash. During the entire robbery, "Mary Kay Bandit" waved and pointed the pistol at everyone in the bank. When he collected the money from the tellers, he fled the bank and was seen leaving the area in a Harley Davidson edition Ford F-150 pickup truck, black over maroon in color.

The "Mary Kay Bandit" is described as a black male, 30-40 years old, 5-10" to 6'02" tall, medium muscular build, clean shaven, wearing women's make-up on his face. He was dressed in a red pullover jacket, dark pants, and a black and white "do rag" covering his head.

Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of "Mary Kay Bandit", or any felony suspect. If you have information regarding this case contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
