BANK ROBBER HANDS MENACING MESSAGE TO TELLER
The FBI Houston Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed the Chase Bank at 3202 Southwest Freeway in Houston on November 1, 2007. At approximately 5:30 PM, a lone black male entered the bank and asked about a loan. He then approached the teller counter and handed the teller a note, which not only demanded money, but threatened the teller’s life. The teller handed over the cash in the drawer, and then the robber demanded money of the adjacent teller. He placed the money from the two tellers into a blue bank bag which he had brought with him. He then calmly walked out of the bank. No one was physically hurt. The robber is described as a black male, age 25-32, 5’06”-5’09” tall, 180 pounds, athletic build, dark complexion, and mustache. He was wearing a black baseball cap, a navy blue “Echo Unlimited” long sleeve pullover shirt, and blue jeans. Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to the charging and arrest of this man, or any felony suspect. If you have any information, please call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477).
