MAN CLAIMING TO BE ARMED ROBS AMEGY BANK IN KINGWOOD


The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public's help in identifying a man who robbed the Amegy Bank at 2595 West Lake Houston Parkway in Kingwood on Thursday, October 18.

At approximately 11:45 a.m., the lone white male approached the teller counter and placed a green zippered bank bag on the counter. The teller was given a note which demanded money from the teller drawer. The note also indicated that the robber had a pistol. After obtaining the money, the man left the bank on foot in an eastbound direction. No one was physically hurt.

The suspect is described as a white male, age 47-53, 5'8"-5'10", medium build, fair complexion, thick , dark, long mustache, with dark brown graying hair. He was wearing a green shirt, blue jeans, a blue baseball cap, and aviator sunglasses.
