“Beach Bum” Bandit Robs Amegy Bank

The FBI Bank Robbery Task Force is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the “Beach Bum” bandit, who robbed the Amegy Bank at 1801 Main Street in Houston this morning at 9:30.

“Beach Bum” approached the teller and placed a note on the counter demanding cash. He put the cash into his shirt pocket and left the bank on foot. No one was physically hurt.

“Beach Bum” is described as a black male, 35-36 years of age, 220-250 pounds, large build, light brown complexion, bald, with mustache. He was wearing a Hawaiian print shirt over a white tee shirt, and long blue jean shorts.
