FBI RESPONDS TO INQUIRIES REGARDING INVESIGATION INTO YOUTUBE TODDLER VIDEO

The FBI Houston Area Cyber Crimes Task Force is providing investigative, analytical, and technical assistance to our state and local law enforcement partners investigating a video that had been posted on the YouTube website.

The video shows young women teasing a toddler for acting strangely; in the video, the women seem to suggest that the child's behavior was the result of taking the drug Ecstasy.

Together, we are attempting to determine the authenticity of the video, as well as the identity of the participants and the welfare of the child depicted in the video. Results of the investigation will be provided to the appropriate U.S. Attorney's or District Attorney's office for them to make a decision on prosecution.
