Bryan Resident Agency

The Bryan RA encompasses a territory covering seven counties (Austin, Brazos, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Madison, and Waller) with a total area of 4,944 square miles and a population of approximately 260,000 people. The RA territory is predominately rural with an agricultural economic base. In addition, the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries influence the territory's economy. Other major economic influences in this territory are Texas A&M University, located in College Station, and the numerous financial institutions in Bryan, which is considered the banking and financial center of the "Brazos Valley" region.
